Hi Layah2013
Get yourself a bottle of Glucogel from pharmacy with a long twist up nozzle and if there is a time when little one is off with the fairies in hypoland ......no lights on, unresponsive etc, put 2 pillows under her head and try to turn her on her side. Put a towel under her head and gently squeeze very small beads of the Glucogel into the mouth along the buccal lining gof the gums and cheek and then gently massage the face so that the gel gets absorbed quickly without risking choking. .....so only tiny amounts at a time and not loads. It might take about 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle to start working it's action but should bring little one to be responsive enough within about 15mins so that she can be ok to drink a bit of lucozade or fruit juice etc and then a biscuit. This was a Godsend years ago back in the 80's and saved a lot of hospital admissions or glucagon injections. In the 60's small amounts of table sugar were used and massaged I along the lips so that it would be absorbed but Glucogel (Hypostop) was brilliant and still is.
Can you get cgm at all as that can be set up to sound an alarm?
