Hi all, I am new to the forum. I am 47 years old, active, slightly overweight but very active male. I have recently been diagnosed as prediabetic with an HBA1C of 42. Due to time constraints (young family, early up for work) I tend to do my exercising in the evening. I have read this can confer benefits to blood glucose control versus morning activity. My concern is the post work out meal. I have read that eating after 1800 can lead to decreased blood glucose control. I would typically work out at approx. 2000 to 2130 then eat and go to bed around 2230. Does anyone have any experience with evening work outs, recovery meal timings and blood sugar control?

Many thanks in advance
