Hi, everyone I've been diagnosed with Lada/t1 few months ago.
I'm mostly withing range during the day, but during the night after 2 o clock, my Libre says I go below 4, but not below 3mmol. Almost every night.
I usually go to sleep with 6-8 mmol and take my last bolus (humalog) at 19h. I'm injecting no more than 2 units before dinner.
Also I have a snack before bed, but this doesn't seem to affect the result after it falls down at 2-3 o clock, it just falls from a higher point.
Also one day I woke up in the middle of the night, just needed to use the bathroom and looked at libre and it said 2.9, I immediately went to test with blood and it said 4.4, so later I read somewhere that libre sometimes measures incorrectly if you sleep on it...
During the day I inject 2-3 units depending on my meals.
My basal dose (toujeo) was 10 units, so I have lowered it to 8, with some results... Do you have a suggestion, should I try to lower my basal even more? Maybe try 5-6 units? What numbers are you aiming for during the night?
I had an appointment cancelled with my doctors this week, probably because of Covid numbers growing again, I think they are pretty busy lately
...
Thanks
