Hi,

Never cooking with this I was wondering if anyone has tried Nikuman with almond flour. Failing that do you think it could work?

I was planning on making them before diag. Obviously now normal flour is out as I'm trying to cut as many crabs out of my meals as possible. I suppose the oyster sause might have to be cut back on as well. I'd have to buy lots of bits before cooking this so I am reluctant to buy it all if its going to be a disaster

Thanks in advance

I have used almond meal and flax meal, but since they are gluten free, it's difficult to get a good texture. I have a jar of gluten, whichi use to try to replicate a normal flour

PS
You probably wouldn't be able to get your almond pastry to stick to make the nikuman without some gluten. You can buy gluten on-line from a couple of places. Google for it. I mix it spoonful for spoonful with flax meal for pancakes.

Doh sausage figures! I was going to try some flax meal recipes soon anyway so I'll add it to my list of things to try
