I don't know how things are in Australia but try and look into Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. People with MS get a lot of benefits and here in the UK dozens of centres have been set up to provide this treatment. As a way of helping with funding they sell, if that's the right word, places in the chamber to those with all sorts of conditions, including diabetics with ulcerated legs and feet. It has been shown to be very beneficial and in some cases actually avoided amputations.
