No more metformin for me :)

I talked with my GP a couple of months ago about coming off metformin - at the time I was on 1000mg a day. He suggested going down to 500mg a day and seeing what that did to my HbA1c.

Blood test this morning - GP rang at tea time to say my HbA1c was again 39 - and so to stop the metformin.

From tomorrow I will be diet controlled only - changing my profile on this forum was most satisfying!
