On doctor's advice: No meds, low-carb (70g/day). Long daily walks in the beautiful Kent countryside. I don't use a blood-glucose meter. Before diagnosis: Decades on "low-fat" diet but liberally consumed rice, pasta, potatos, bread, beer. Skinny, but had prominent "beer paunch" at diagnosis. Height 6-foot-4 (193cm).
