    Daily: brisk walk 3 miles, plus home exercises.


    67 HbA1c, 81KG (BMI 21.7) when diagnosed 1st February 2017 (age 59).
    37 HbA1c, 73KG (BMI 19.5) 18th April 2017 ("reversed" to non-diabetic level).
    30 HbA1c, 71KG (BMI 19.0) 1st August 2017
    30 HbA1c, 70KG (BMI 18.7) 13th November 2017
    31 HbA1c, 70KG (BMI 18.7) 6th February 2018
    37 HbA1c, 69KG (BMI 18.5) 1st August 2018

    On doctor's advice: No meds, low-carb (70g/day). Daily 3-mile walk + 30mins home exercise. I don't use a blood-glucose meter. Before diagnosis: Decades on "low-fat" diet but liberally consumed rice, pasta, potatos, bread, beer. Skinny, but had prominent "beer paunch" at diagnosis even though BMI was "only" 21.7 -- waistline was 40" but is now 33". Height 6-foot-4 (193cm).
