What do you think about the Noctura400 mask? I've just learned about its existence and, as I'm desperate for anything that can give my husband hope to keep his eyes as healthy as possible, I am totally interested in giving it a try. However, it's quite expensive so I'm wondering if any of you guys have ever used it or heard about someone who had and could share your experience?
Thanks a lot.

Hi @Trishhh
Following successful laser treatment, I used it for about 6 years, and only intended having a break for summer last year, as I have very dry eyes and allergies and couldn't cope with the light from the mask when it was very warm. Didn't restart due to finances, and my very next check up showed I needed more laser unfortunately.

Hope to restart it soon, but the cost has gone up quite a lot.

Hi there, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm sorry to hear you'll need more treatment. Hopefully it will be the last time. Do you think you didn't need it for six years because of the mask? If so, maybe you can get it through the NHS?

Thanks @Trishhh
I've actually had the 'top up laser' as the Consultant called it, and post laser appointment showed all was stable again. I do think the mask made a difference, and discussed with the Consultant getting it on the nhs. He said the manufacturers needed to approach him, but last time they did, he didn't reply to them. I'm going to ask him to apply for funding for me, but unfortunately didn't see him at my last appointment, and other things have got in the way since.

I'm glad your treatment worked again! Fingers crossed you'll get the mask
