<br />Hi guys, I'm new on the forum and straight away I need a bit of help. I've just gone onto one a day insulin after 10 years of slowly increasing tablet treatment. I am beginning to feel a bit better but my feet have become really tingly, almost painful, at night. Now it's stopping me sleeping and lie ins are a memory! I have quite good BGs (always less than 10 or 11, normally 6 or 7) but i've only been on Insulin for one month. I have tried Ibuprofen but it doesn't really help.
The questions are
How can I control the pain?
Will it go away?
Chris
Thanks in advance:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Hi Chris Re Leg Pains
Something I have found helpful can’t thing where I got it from but it does seem to work for me to alleviate nuropathic pains in the legs. I used to often get the feeling that 1001 worms were squirming about in my legs which invariably kept me awake. I would stand in the shower and spray my legs with cold water for two or three minutes. It usually settled it down enough for me to get off to sleep. Might be worth a try? As to your question will it go away I have found that if I consistantly keep my B'S's as near normall as possible the pains significantly improve.
Regards
John
