No idea really. Is your blood pressure OK? I've heard a nosebleed can act as a safety valve. I think you must have hit your nose in your sleep or something. Sorry I'm not much help.

Nose bleeds run in my family. In my case not high blood pressure if it happens again it could be worth getting it checked..
