Are you eating carbohydrate and hoping that the tablets will reduce your blood glucose?
There is a lot of very poor advice about eating a healthy diet full of bread and potatoes, pasta and so on, when you really need to be cutting down until your body can cope with what you are consuming - I think that you are type 2, having seen another message from you - but my memory is still affected by the tablets I was prescribed.
The tablets you are taking at present could result in you having hypos if you cut town drastically and quickly, but from those numbers, the drugs cannot cope with your diet as it is now.

Sorry about your mum, that's bound to have upset your control.
What sort of foods do you eat ?

Hi - sorry to hear about your Mum - I had exactly the same thing last year (just before I got diagnosed) - I know how down you can get. I'm sure the stress doesn't do your BG levels any good - it didn't with me.

Are you T1 or T2? Do you try to regulate your BG through diet? The high levels in the morning may be down to the "Liver dump" or dawn phenomenon whereby the liver is preparing for you to get up (Rise & Shine!). Explained HERE. But don't despair - lots of people on here to lend a bit of support. Let us know how you're getting on.

Cheers
