Hi my friend hasn't been diagnosed yet but does a random glucose of 28.3 indicate type two with no other symptoms in an adult she ate 45 mins prior to that being taken and was called 1 hour after the appointment she's has a total thyroidectomy and her free t4 is raised too she's under a lot of stress she told me she had two jacket potatoes with four butters and a pot of cheese before the test. She has no signs of dka this test was done nearly 4 weeks ago

We can't diagnose people as we aren't doctors. However, a reading of 28.3 would be what I consider an emergency situation. No amount of stress and food should ever push a healthy individual to blood sugar levels that high.
