So how high fat are you? If you're trying to loose weight you do still need to think about calorie deficit even when low carbing so if you are over enthusiastic in the high fat that will very easily result in calorie surplus and weight gain.
I still have to calorie count - I don't eat a big amount of fat just enough to stay satisfied- I mainly get my fats from oily fish, avocado, virgin olive oil, a few nuts, not a lot of dairy as this also stalls my weight loss although I do have a small amount of cheese - don't give up low carb is more about getting your bs under control and then the weight loss - keep doing what your doing with maybe a few tweaks it's still early days for you
I have been struggling to keep my original weightloss for a while, and have only seen my weight start to go down day by day since starting to eat strawberries and cream - I accounted for the carbs in the barriers, but the cream represents extra fat.
I really think that we do need to get the fat intake right for weightloss to occur.
I suspect that there are people who have different fat pathways and they need to be cautious about their fats.
