I have noticed that the amount of clinical trials for long term type 1 diabetics is NIL.
I would like to take part but the only ones I have found are for Type 2 diabeteics or for newly diagnosed type 1 diabetics (Diagnosed within 6 Months).
These two research programmes are of NO use to long standing type 1 diabetics.
They would like to find a vaccine for type 1 or cure newly diagnosed type 1 diabeteics? .........No use to us who have had it for ages!!!
and Type 2 is a different form of diabetes!
So where are the clinical trials for long standing Type 1 diabetes to find a cure???
Please let us know if you Know of any!
Seems better all round the world apart from here in Britain in this field.
