Hi all,

The name is Hannah, been a Type 1 Diabetic for coming up 11 years in October. It has taken me that long to finally come to my senses and control my Diabetes, although if it hadn't of been for the carb counting I think I would still be struggling. Carb counting has been a god send.

Welcome to the forum Hannah, I agree with the carb counting. I'm fortunate as that's all I've ever known. Must have been a nightmare before.

It really was. now I have got the new Aviva expert meter too which is a double help

Do you use the carb counting phone apps too, a lot say they help.
Myfitnesspal is a simple one I use

For a refreshed when needed, I came across carb counting and dosing workbooks that seems worthwhile with the free online course that a lot say is good

No I don't use any of the phone apps, just simple carb counting plus I have the new Aviva expert meter which also works it out for me
