FOOTBALL. MY husband is a sports fanatic and watches everything. Most i can put up with just not football.
Hi, had my op to remove gallbladder 6 days ago and as far as i know everything went well. I haven't got a fever or anything but have felt quite churny for the last few days. I checked my sugars and it read 12.9. Since changing to sitigliptin a couple of weeks ago my sugars have been fairly good between 5/7. Could the rise have anything to do with the op do you think? Also my taste has changed. Things i love like milk, onions, coffee + more make me feel sick  . I dont even have much of an appetite either anymore. A few months ago a friend told me that my taste will change and i'd like to know if this could be the reason I've gone like this. And no, i'm deffinately not pregnant  . Even the smell of the chip pan sets me off. Some ideas would be very well appreciated please. Not quite able to walk to the docs at the mo.

Hi,

Am glad your op went well.
I have heard it is quite usual for some foods to make you feel nauseous in the early days after the op. Have you been given any instructions for your post operative diet?
Your blood sugars could well remain high for a few more days so try not to worry, you have had major surgery and it takes a while for your body to get back to normal.
Do not hesitate to phone your G.P. for advice if you feel that you are unwell or needing some advice re the operation.
Take care and wishing you a speedy recovery.
