Being type 1, my health and what really grates me are false people who make themselves out to be something when their not
Well after some reading and more fiddling I've come to some sort of understanding with what my Insight does, it all just seemed to click and I think I've learnt what I can do I'm still using the basics. I've got to switch to time blocks and am using basically the pump and I think with my long cannulas I'm happier.

Off topic, did anyone watch the drama last night "the C Word" with Sheridan Smith portraying Lisa Lynch who sadly battled breast cancer which then spread, she's an amazing actress, a brilliant portrayal. If only I could tackle life with her positive attitude.
Just brilliant brilliant brilliant

I'm really glad you're getting along with your new pump. Change after a successful prolonged time with another beastie was always going to be stressful. But, it sounds like it's been worth it for you. It's good to keep up to date with developments.

I didn't see the programme you're talking about. "We" we're welded to the Test Match last night, so little else happened on Planet Breathe.

Are you a cricket fan yourself? Or was the TV remote not in your possession

Sheridan Smith is a fantastic actress, recorded this programme last night and will watch it this weekend. Pleased your getting to grips with your new pump MB

Thanks, the programme is well worth watching, it puts things in perspective for me.

Both! Life's too short to negotiate on the remote control.

I enjoy cricket, but to be honest prefer the 20:20 or One Day formats, as there tends to be more excitement. The 5-day game can sometimes be a bit like paint drying! I have been fortunate to be able to go to watch England a couple of times in the last 12 months, in warmer climes, because we were there, and it's been great fun.

I hat to show off I have a cricket field at the end of my garden, it's beautiful, I love it as the year goes through all the preparation of th grass etc, painting of the screens etc , the pavilion has just been totally refurbished it's brilliant and with a gate at the end of my garden it's ideal for walking my dogs. It's in our village but they come from afar to play here lovely!!

I have cricket field at end of garden too! Only a village one with a beer pavilion as well. End of garden is raised so we can sit and watch the cricket.

Great to hear things are improving with the pump, Mason Bason.
