In the last week or so I get lots of daily notifications in relation to all manner of db posts on the forum - many completely unrelated to my issues anyone know if these are DBForum generated, if so how I turn off? Or would it be phone settings - I have tried tweaking settings to no avail.

Thanks @lovinglife

Hi @ExChocoholic
Could you just let us know whether you are using the App or not, and confirm that you are using your phone rather than a tablet or PC? Thank you. :)

If you go to your profile, and select the Alert Preferences in the list on the left hand side, you will see what they currently are set to. Change them as much as you like to increase or decrease the notifications you recieve. :)

If that doesn't help, and you are still having a problem then come back and post on this thread.
I will tag in @DCUKMod who may be able to help, or who can escalate things if it looks like you have a glitch.

So where is my profile please? I can't see in side drop down menu?

Ah,
I don't have, or use, the App (I find the website much easier to navigate, even on the phone) so the App may have some differences that I do not know about. In which case, you could try logging out of the App and logging in to the main website to follow these instructions. :)

If you click or hover over your name or profile pic at the top right of the screen, you will get a list of profile options appear.
One of those is 'Alert Preferences'. Click that to change your settings.

Alternatively you can actually open your Profile by clicking on your name or profile pic at the top right of the screen twice.

The first option is the best one for me when I am using my phone.
The second option is the best one for me when I am using a tablet or PC.
So you may have to try both and see which works best for your circumstance.
