novolin n

Am having trouble keeping bgs stable ,i carb count and inject novorapid in right amounts but after two hours bgs ok then surge on upwards before next meal. I use levemir as basal at the mo and as lantus stings cant use that so wondering if I asked for novolin n being an intermediate insulin that would help with this ,so anyone on that and if so how good is it for you :?:

Maybe worth doing a fasting test to see what your bg would do without food and QA insulin, if a meal has a high fat content my bg can rise 2-3 hours after eating.
