NovoPen adapter?

Hello. I've been prescribed Apidra insulin, previously on NovoRapid. I have the NovoPen and naively assumed that all cartridges would be compatible (Didn't take into account pharmaceutical proprietary money making schemes).

Is there an adaptor to allow standard cartridges to be used in the NovoPen and so the needles I have to also work?

Or is the NHS going to have to fund me getting replacement Pen and Needles and for me to have to discard my existing supply?

Unfortunately, there is no adapter. You will need to request a new pen. Make it two new pens because you need a spare.
The good news is that the needles ARE universal.
