Lyumjev...never heard of it until now. I did some research and it sounds promising. So Many thanks...I don’t think there necessarily is a full proof solution. Until I stopped using Novorapid I had to inject around 45 minutes before eating in order for it to work a bit better.
Have you asked your GP if they can get hold of Lyumjev instead of fiasp? They do exactly the same thing just made by different companies.
Yes you are absolutely right regarding cartridges only (for quite sometime). Are you using Fiasp Flex touch pens, as they've been on short supply for over a year? Cartridges of Fiasp for reusable pens, should be available.
Personally I wouldn't do this due to unpredictable results of the method, he's a bit of a maverick for suggesting it but I feel this method is dangerous. How long does it take for your novo to kick in ? Are you pre-bolusing to time the insulin against the BG rise ?I read Gary Scheiner's work where he mentions injecting into the muscle.
I use Ljumjev and take it as soon as I eat, it has helped with spikes but I also eat low carb too so the combined method has helped me achieve more stable BG levels.
Shows how different we all are!I often take my dose of novorapid after i've eaten as it works as soon as i inject therefor my theory is activity helps the absorption.
