In the last 4 to 6 weeks I have reduced average carb intake to around 70gsm a day average from 160 average - also increased fats etc. I have the diabetic nurse appointment in a few weeks so will begin to understand more. Due to me not fitting the "normal" Type 2 diagnosis been exceptionally fit, lean body weight and no real other symptoms the doc ordered some additional bloods tests also going to organise a stomach scan.  (Unfortunately not the GAD or C-peptide yet)  I was lucky enough to get the bloods done same day at the hospital and already have the results. So HbA1c has reduced from 51 to 49 which is good, however my Cholesterol is High at 6.8, HDL and Tri both normal ( my last Cholesterol in 2021 was 5.3) -   One other test that was abnormal was Serum Urea was high at 8.2 - not really sure what that is indicating as not spoken to doc since this.</blockquote>
