Why are my toes and the balls of my feet semi numb all th time and what should I do about it?

Hi, @amate007

Did you mean to title your thread Numb Feet, rather than Numb Geet?
I can change it, if you like, because you may get more responses that way.

Just let me know, and I can make the change.

Yes, I would like you to replace numb geet with numb feet

Edited by mod: have changed your thread title as requested

I've had the same problem in my left foot since diagnosis. Last week, I thought I noticed a slight improvement. This week it's the same as before. But it's no worse than it was two years ago. Normalised BG may help.

Dr Berstein reckons that nerve damage is one of the first symptoms of diabetes we notice. That was certainly my experience. He suggests that it can improve over time if we can maintain blood glucose within the non-diabetic range

It was the first symptom I reported to my GP and then neurologist and did lead to my eventual diagnosis.
