Diabetes!! People who dont understand. Being overweight and hungry.
Im concerned about my numbers recently, as I posted before my GP has told me he thinks I may have lost enough weight to not be Diabetic, as I am "borderline" and I had a Fasting Test yesterday, I told him my numbers were rising and he didnt seem too concerned, but I am.
How can my numbers have started rising to quickly they started 4,5,6,7 which I was quite happy with and would explain the "borderline" diagnosis, but recently hitting 9,10,11 and even 12, my highest being 12.7, is way higher and happening more and more regularly lately. I am waking in the 6s, going down to going to 7s after breakfast, going back to 6s before dinner and shooting up to 12.4 four hours after dinner and an hour later going down to 9, Im not on and diabetic meds.
How can this be happening?
If I wasnt Diabetic it wouldnt matter what I ate I would never get above 7, let alone this high.
Concerned and Confused here.

Deffo go see your Doctor or another one at the surgery if you don't feel happy seeing the same one.
In january at diagnosis my readings were in the low teens and sometimes in single figures but gradually though, even with low carb and 2 lots of meds they kept creeping up to late teens, then 20's and then 30's and then off my meter and to the point that when I fasted for 40 hours because I didn't want to eat because I was so depressed-my blood sugar was 19.8!
My endocrinologist now thinks I have type 1.5 LADA and that I was misdiagnosed with type 2 solely down to the fact I was 35.
If your levels keep creeping up despite your best efforts then make lots of noise at the doctors about it as high readings that never go down make you feel so ill-believe me!
All the best
Paul
