Dentists always used to tsk tsk about my teeth and tell me I was eating too much sugar when I wasn't. Since low carbing I have had very few problems so guess it was self-generated glucose that was causing the decay. Perhaps the guy got complacent because he hadn't had to do any work for a long time, oh yeah I had another corner crack off but it was non-painful and I can't remember if it was nuts or something else that broke it, he repaired that one without even needing anesthetic.
So overall I think there's a net benefit to low carbing.
Also watch out for pellets in game, and small stones in lentils
