I've had some oddly high readings today - not over the top high, but more than 2 point change after eating.
I've eaten exactly the same as I eat most day (I have a "set"of standard menus) - bacon and egg for breakfast, followed by coffee. Normally this only raises my BG by 1 point (reading before eating compared with reading 2 hours after eating). Today, the difference was 2.4.
Lunch - salmon, cucumber, avocado, followed by Greek yogurt and strawberries, another coffee. Again, the difference is in my BG is normally around1 - 1.4, today it was 2.5.
Tea - lamb, cauliflower mash, decaf coffee. Difference is normally 0.5 - 1.0, today 2.4.
I've not eaten anything else than what is listed, I've drank my usual amount of coffee, plus my usual amount of water. No different medication, no illness, no high temperature.
What is going on? Any clue gratefully accepted!
