Hello All,

Having been diagnosed with type 2 about four months ago, I'm on BP medication and statins,
Both are working so that's good but a new symptom has come along.
My right middle fingertip is consistently numb. I still have enough sensation to feel textures
so it isn't all that bad.
I'm thinking diabetic neuropathy is the most likely cause. J had a trapeziectomy for arthritis
about 9 months ago and that healed perfectly well. It seems odd that a glith should come about
after so long.
Anybody here getting the same?

Hello and welcome, @Davhill .
Sorry you are having problems with numbness in finger.
We can’t offer diagnosis or medical advice, so this one is for discussion with GP or HCPs who treated you after the wrist surgery.

My own experience is that I have subluxation of the base of thumb joint. Sometimes finger numbness, which is not deemed to be neuropathy, but due to arthritis.
