Well we are three weeks into flying solo and what a difference some confidence makes. Bg is nice and steady at a mean average of 7.2 (which is absolute evidence we are still "low" dodging) but we get better all the time. Happy to report that Max's life is exactly as it was, just a little more organised than other kids. We use ionic colloidal silver gel on his fingers at night to rapidly heal them and so far so good - he doesn't look like a pin cushion anymore and we are down to 10 tests a day maximum.
I am getting sleep too finally which is a blessing and a joy. We may not be able to cure this thing, but it is manageable, hugely so, and my child is back to his happy bouncy self. That's all a mum could ask for really, a happy kid.
Sending much love to all from an overcast forest on the edge of the Indian Ocean in Africa.
