moved to my Home-State, so happy to be back and have my much-loved 4 Seasons again. Did not like the almost constant, icy winds off the ocean, and lack of shopping options (groceries and other). Did a lot of shopping online and finally gave up on any clothes shopping ;)
and ready to look at some options.

I've read broccoli is low in oxalates, so I think that is good if it's true. I love my broccoli. I'd really like to hear from some of you on foods you are good with though, rather than the videos I was watching. Even if they are carnivore, ok with me. I am pretty good at accepting situations in my life, after I get over my initial "pee'd off" stage

The only thing I would hate to lose out on is my Almond Milk, walnuts, pistachios and Macadamias. I love my dairy like butter, cream-cheese too. I still have found an actual list of thing carnivores eat yet. Pretty sure it's not literally just meat?? I'd like to find a chart kind of like a glycemic scale, but for foods and their oxalate contents/mg since I think I read 50 or below on oxalates is ok.

I'm starting to feel depressed again, but I'll be alright

You will be alright, yes. I've heard lemon juice and olive oil are good for kidney stones. Some say it's a myth, but I guess it's worth a go. Lots of water and diuretic foods too. Good luck with it!

Hi @G0ldengirl68
I am currently suffering from the pain of a kidney stone lodged in my left kidney, and a ureteric stent which was inserted during an operation to remove the stone which failed. I don’t know what type of stone I have but I do know it’s probably not calcium as it doesn’t show on xray, I was diagnosed with a CT scan. I’m waiting for a second op to zap the stone and remove the stent. I haven’t had any guidance with diet to prevent another stone forming. I’m not going to alter anything I eat, as low carb already restricts my choices somewhat and the dietary advice I’ve read on tinternet is difficult to wade through because of the four types of stones and I don’t know which type I have!

I am carnivore. Started out as a regular paleo diet to beat diabetes but after experimenting with carnivore I discovered my body felt even better without plants. I eat meat & organs, fish, dairy and eggs. Not much else. Be aware that if you dramatically cut oxalates from your diet then you may experience dumping which can manifest as painful joints for a few weeks or months until your body has purged. I had quite painful shoulders at one stage not long ago but it’s now resolved.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's a myth since it seems like anything good, and that folks can afford, or it doesn't come from big pharma is all bad!! Right, it's bad for big pharma

I can't imagine suffering with pain like that ;( I have so many doctors I listen to online, and this site has a lot of info but it's hard to navigate, Earthclinic. I also like Dr. Berg's videos, although I check with several opinions unless I'm pretty confident about the different info and possible remedies. I like him because he puts things in simple terms. Here's just one vid of his I watched on "stones". Maybe you'll find something that might work for you at one or the other link. I hope and pray the best for you @Rachox Oops, forgot the video, just a short one but he has lots: https://youtu.be/dvx9lXwvm84

Oh thanks for the list of foods carnivores eat! I could live without vegies, in fact, lately, all I eat is a few leafs of spinach, and about a cup of broccoli. I love my fish, dairy and eggs. Moderation in those, and trying to drink enough water. I get about 32 ounces for sure a day, with added electrolytes (Endure brand of drops). Also @Jim Lahey thanks for the heads up on the joint issue, I haven't had that with going Keto, or being so low on vegies now, but I still have some muscle-cramps but down to almost nothing on those due to extra magnesium, plus the electrolyte drops in my water. @SMS1 I hope I can keep drinking my almond milk which is only in my 1-2 cups of coffee. I'd say maybe a tablespoon is all.
