Type 1 Omnipod 5

My 14 year old son has just been put onto the omnipod 5 insulin pod which he is really happy and impressed with but finds it sore and hurts whilst removing the old one, was wondering if anyone has figured out and easier less painful way of removing the old one to help him out a little bit.

Any advice welcome and would like to thank you in advance.

I do not have the OmniPod but have a different patch pump. Just like when removing a large plaster, I find it helps to remove it in the shower, slowly peeling it back and getting the water to loosen the glue as you go.
Another option maybe baby oil.

Pelican adhesive remover is good for removing anything sticky. Simply spray it on and wait a minute and Dexcom etc peels off.
