Omnipod and airports

When people say 'Pacific' instead of 'Specific' :-)
Hi, can anyone offer advice on travelling with an omnipod? First time through airport security with one for me and I can't detach it like my old Accu-Chek! Thanks :-)

I would check with the manufacturer, but I believe they can go through the normal metal detector with no issues, but not the body scanners (same for all pumps) due to the different wavelengths involved.

If you need to go through a body scanner ask for a personal search instead, adn carry your doctor's letter with you
