Omnipod change

Is there any particular time of day which is best to change omnipod? I still have insulin on board just wondered what experiences forum users have had? Plus changing insulin from novorapid to aprida would like a seamless transition. Thanks

I can’t fully answer your question as my pump is not Omnipod and I have not changed insulin types.
However, when I do a pump set change, the important thing for me is to be able to test a couple of hours after with an approximate idea of what BG to expect. This is in order for me to check the pump change went ok.
This means, I do not change at night before bed because I couldn’t test whilst asleep.
I usually change before breakfast when I am eating something that I know how it will affect my BG.
