I got on the pump two weeks ago after five years using pens. I changed pump today and the old one started to continuously give out a very high pitch noise soon after I removed it. This was now a few hours ago and it has not stopped...driving us all mad, trying to hide it in drawers etc but the noise is still there! I tried calling the 24 hour technical helpline number but got through to an answer phone message asking me to call back during office hours. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you need to take it apart? As the omnipods are recycled I don't want to ruin it if I can avoid it.

Refer to the instruction manual, it explains how to shut-off the alarm on the Pod using a paper clip.
