Happy Birthday E, you can have my key if you like, its gone a bit rusty, not too much of the naughty stuff tonight.

The wife is amazingly organised .. And she is up to something .. Packages arriving and a smug look on her chops ! She's also making out to have not noticed the date ! We have been together for over 25 years now .. So can read her like a book ...and go along with it .... In turn she can read me like a book ... So it may be a double bluff ... She keeps me on my toes anyway ... !!! :singing: So I keep wandering around humming happy birthday to me .....
 
Thank you all for your birthday wishes ... 66 is a kinda first (I have an older brother, so he beat me to 66) but we are the first males in the traceable family history to reach this age .. All going with heart problems long before old age really set in :( ... ( not a male, but my grandmother went with heart problems in her 20's ! )

So every day is a good day .. Even the bad ones .. DB is for me the lesser of the two problems .. As once the heart stops beating my sugar levels won't matter .. Having said that the wife loves a Challange and is enjoying keeping my sugars under control with food.. So tonight I expect our friends will be sampling LCHF foods without realising it ! Hence the wife's smug look.

Thank you .. I have tried not to notice the wife pinning up buntin at the end of the drive .. We live out of town so no one can find our driveway in the dark ;)

Thank you everyone .. I had a fantastic evening with lots of close friends .. The sugars level went up to mid seven .. But was back down to low five before I went to bed .... No one noticed it was a fairley LCHF spread .. I did have a little pizza .. The wife makes it with the thinnest of bases .. With three diffrent cheeses on the topping .. Curry coleslaw .. And birthday cake ... We even played pass the meter .. At the request of my guests .. :banghead: Like I really want to play that game .. The lowest was .. Me and the wife at that time I was 5.00 and the wife 5.3 the rest of the friends were all high 6 ! So it just goes to show how well the LCHF diet can change your readings.
In February I will be having my 23 birthday, as we book the day I had my heart bypass op as a new start for me and that's almost 23 years ago now ...
