I am currently on nova but i takes me a long time to get my sugar levels down this especially is annoying at dinnertimes as i have to eat late which results in high sugar levels. i have treid lumjev but that did not work is there a different insulin to this

Do you pre-bolus?
If your levels are taking a while to come down, the food is raising your levels before the insulin starts to work so you need to take the insulin earlier.
If your levels do not come down, your insulin dose is too low.

I changed to Fiasp because I was needing to pre-bolus so early to avoid the spike.
This has helped me but I find it is more complex - the pre-bolus time depends upon my BG levels. If I am in the 4s and 5s, it works instantly, If I am in the 6s and 7s it takes 15 to 30 minutes so I inject just before eating. If I am higher it can take a while to work. This can be as long as an hour ifd I am in double figures.
