Well to drop that amount in 2 months is great, you are heading in the right direction, maybe some portion control on what you are eating now will help improve it even more, big, well done from meAm I the only type 2 diabetic that has been able to eat what I like?
After being diagnosed about 2 months ago my readings went from 21.5 down to below 7 fasting and under 8.5 2 hours later. The only thing I have cut out are sugar, sweets and chocolate and beer although I did have a excessive night last Saturday (beer lots and curry) but took my meter out and to my surprise my readings before and after were below 7 and I did have a few of the after eights after the meal haha. I still eat potatoes pasta and wholemeal bread but my readings average out to around 8.
I think I'm just one lucky so and so.....
Good luck with the ND diet. Thanks guys I will be doing the Newcastle diet on the 1st of jan not overweight or with high cholesterol but just to get rid of the fatty build up around the organs and see if the ND diet really works
