Hi,
I have been a type 1 diabetic for 27 years and have felt it is time to do a one man show showing how type 1 diabetes affects one's life. More dates are being added in the future but the show gets it's unveiling at the cockpit theatre in london on sept 6th and sept 7th.
A pound of every ticket sale is going to Diabetes uk, and i am hoping this show raises awareness to those who have no understanding, and to help those who have had times living and dealing with Type 1.

The show synopsis
Keep calm I'm only Diabetic
(over 16's as graphic language used)
If you think Type 1 diabetes is a disability, think again. This satirical one man show follows the real life story of one diabetic’s journey and the obstacles he has to overcome to make his dreams come true. Yes there’s heartbreak and tears as some opportunities are cruelly closed off from him. But in a career spanning professional sport, music and showbusiness this is ultimately a tale of laughter and joy, and how to reach for the top when the odds are stacked against you.
I hope to have support from all those living with type 1, and i will indeed do my best to represent you all in the best way possible
Diabetes wont defeat us

P.s. Sorry if this was posted in the wrong part of this forum, i am a newbie so taking me a while to get to grips with it
