One week in

I've had one week since diagnosis , check up today and chat about diet , bs are down to 10 & 9 lowest has been 7.6 , was 17.6 at start , diet wise I didn't change much as mainly eat meat & lots of veg and low carb , nurse was pleased with early results showing

well done, big improvement in a week, I guess it must have been the bags of chips you gave up

Eating breakfast was the biggest change more veg too

My bs had been 25 or higher but now on insulin today as been a low day.
Yesterday a high day.
I start doing my own insulin from tomorrow.
See a vascular surgeon on Wednesday, as been seeing a podiatry since March.
It as gone on for long enough. There is no skin on 3rd toe at all it looks as if it as been flattened.

Sorry to hear that destiny , hope all gets under control soon , your toe sounds very painful :/
