Online carb counting courses or books

hi guys, looking to go on the pump soon but looking for some information if you can do dafne online or if there are any books rather than waiting and taking time off work to do the courses. could anyone please send me some links to online carb counting courses or to any books that would be worthwhile for pre pump?

DAFNE is only possible via attendance. It's a good course but can be awkward if you can't get time off work when the course is running.
 
Cals and carbs book is quite good too and there is an app as well.
 
awesome guys thanks! is BERTIE recognised by the nhs as a replacement for DAFNE?

BERTIE is run by the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals which is a NHS Foundation Trust.

Having the ability to carb count is a prerequisite for moving to a pump, that is why clinics will insist that you do a course like DAFNE before being considered for a pump, however if you can demonstrate your carb counting skills without doing the 5 day course I'd imagine the pump team would be satisfied enough, so do register on the BERTIE site.
