Oopsies FREEZER ?

I've never tried freezing anything like this - did you try to freeze them? And if so, how did they turn out once they were thawed ?

Hi, I make my Oopsies with Ground Almond and I freeze them and they thaw beautifully. Just a quick thought, I pop my into grease proof bags to keep them separated.

There's NO carbs in gold foil, and that alone makes it worth, well, it's weight in gold Tasty, with a sprinking of balsamic vinegar and Himalayan Pink rock salt

How about dessicated coconut instead ? I'm always interested in alternatives for almond flour, it's expensive here too!

If you have arthritis I believe injections of gold are helpful, but whether that would include gold foil, I wouldn't like to say .

I only use 15grm of ground almonds with 3 large egg yolks, 100grms of full fat cream cheese, 1/2 level teaspoon of baking powder, and c. 1/2 a level teaspoon of cream of tartar in the egg whites - this usually makes around 6 medium size and one larger one for a pizza.

I tried them with dessicated coconut and really didn't like them, which is strange because I love, sorry, use to love (oh fibber I still would love) dark choc bounty bars and macaroons. I also love coconut from the shell. I don't do any cereal products now as they cause my bg to go through the roof. Oopsies are great for that little bit of bulk and very versatile. I have them with blueberries and cream or ham with melted cheese, or full fat cream cheese and tomato. I also eat them as a burger bun with home made burgers. Do let us know how they turn out - although I 'm sure they will freeze okay. If you don't freeze them they go off within a couple of days.

I love oopsies and find them useful in a low-carb diet. I saw that dietdoctor suggested adding psyllium husks to oopsies to make them more bread-like. Thought I'd try them, but packets of them on the shelf in the health shop looked dead suspicious to me and I came away psyllium-free.

Can anyone tell me:

- what they are,
- why they'd be good in oopsies,
- why dusty husks are so expensive,
- and why they look like diarrhoea treatment on the shelf?

Plus, they sound psilly.

Can anyone help. I love oppsie rolls however once they are cool the top goes soggy and sticks to anything I put them in.

I have tried cooking for longer and less but still they are sticky on the top.
