So I live in rented a house. Our tenancy doesn’t say no pets but doesn’t say yes either. However I’ve got a feeling If we asked it would probably be no. However my mums the one that has his number and doesn’t like pets. I’m not talking about dogs or cats or birds and I’m talking about rabbits or hamster, pet rats. I used to have caged animals before I moved but they passed away unfortunately

Would you risk hiding a caged pet

Do any of you hide your pets?

If it doesn't say no pets I think I would assume they're allowed, no asking involved.
But things may be different in the UK. Here in the Netherlands 'no pets' as a rule in a rented house would be very unusual, except when renting a room as a student or such. Owners of rented houses aren't allowed to come in anyway, so no need to hide anything.
I've never hidden a pet, but I have smuggled my father's pet rat into the hospital during visiting hours once to visit him when he had to stay there for a week :D

Mind, this is definitely NOT advice on what you should do, I don't want you to get in trouble or having to rehome your pet, but I guess I would contemplate hiding a pet if I lived somewhere where they wouldn't be allowed...

I think the sensible advice would be to wait a couple of years until you start living away from your mum.

I wouldnt risk it. Also it's your mom's decision as I suppose she pays the rent for the house.

I dont know how old you are but maybe wait til you move into your own property and get yourself your house rabbit, or rat etc
