FOOTBALL. MY husband is a sports fanatic and watches everything. Most i can put up with just not football.
Does anyone know if there is an order in which the meds are issued? For instance.. if i got this right, Metformin is like a base drug and if that dont work well enough even after given the max dose you get put on to something else. If they dont work, are you given a 3rd lot or just change your 2nd ones. I have seen on here that some people are taking loads of different pills and i am getting fed up just taking the 2 a day glucophage and 1a day sitigliptin. :x

Thanks Denise thats a real good link and has answered my questions. I couldn't find it myself coz i couldn't explain myself properly using key words. :D

This is information about the drugs available and an explanation of what they do http://www.diabetesuffolk.com/Drugs/Ora ... 0drugs.htm

I second that - thanks Denise - a useful link.
I'm thinking that I'll ask for Sitagliptin next week - it's interesting that the cost is about the same as a 100 test strips per month. Perhaps if they want to take away my strips I can haggle for the more expensive drug.
