Has any one heard or read any reports about orange bergamot and its effect on BGs and BP ?

Hi Carol, I have lost count of the various herbs, spices, and other concoctions that someone or another has found to be helping with BGs.

I have tried a few, but they don't make a lot of difference, some make a very small difference but that may be due to other factors. Some taste so horrible that to take them in any quantity would be difficult.

I believe that the only way to control BGs is by diet (low carb) and excercise. Medication from the doctor works as well, but herbs and spices, not for me!

I like Twinnings, but the absolute best Earl Grey in my opinion is from Whittards. I buy my Earl Grey from there exclusively now. I did have a light bulb moment a few weeks ago re Whittards tea. I used to drink thinks like their Dreamtime and other speciality teas. Other members of the family also drink the teas and hot chocolates. I stopped drinking them after diagnosis, but recently had to stock up again as we were getting low. This time, with a diabetic head on, I automatically checked the carbs, and almost fell off my chair. The speciality teas I used to drink quite a bit of, are 14.5g of carbs per cup. Another way where I can see where my carbs were coming from pre diagnosis.

Have you read about my new pet subject? Green Chai tea? I'm going to shut up now or I will rave again.
