Hello,
I have only just got my new pump and I want to order some new consumables and I have been told to email them my order but I am unsure what else I need to detail in my email .... Do I need to put my name and home address in the email or do I just send the order .
If any one could help that would be great

Phone them up instead, its a free phone no. They will ask yr postcode if you dont know what yr account no is. Get about 3 months worth of what you need to save you time and also courier costs. I recommend getting the pump bg diaries as the are good to use

I phoned them yesterday for the first time to order what i needed. They were really good and worked out what i would need for 3 months and reminded me of things i had forgotten, oops that will be the cartridges then lol. I have also just received an email to confirm it all and was also told i could have it on an automatic repeat so that i didn't have to keep ordering it myself. I usually use emails for everything but they are so efficient that a phone call was just as easy.

Thank you , I just got told by my nurse to email them as it is easier , but will phone from now on
Should an order be every 3 months or should it be as and when needed ? as I have only ordered a months supply

they told me to order every 3 months but if i run out before just to call and they will send what i need

I order by email, just give my name and address and what I wanted, I order about 4 months ish at a time, last time they also sent batteries for both pump and meter and new cap bits which I had forgotten to ask for! And they sent me the pump diaries which I really like!

Thank you jody,
Did you just put names of the things you wanted / did you put item number as well

Accu cheks customer service is very good so dont worry.......just tell them what you need and they will find the item no for you.. get the easy fill csrtridges, service pack (cartridge cap and battery cap) 9 x AAA batteries for combo remote and 3 x AA battdries for pump, infusion sets and about 60cm tubes, combo skin with clip, pump bg diaries

That's was the one I couldn't understand ... What's the difference between easyfil and standard cartridges ?

The easy fill cartridges have a blue vial to cartridge adaptor which makes filling the cartridge easier whereas the normal cartridges just have a disposable needle with them and come in large box (they are cheaper for ccg) but if youve never used a sytinge to draw insulin b4, get the easy fill ones

I didn't know that difference in cartridges, are they much cheaper for the NHS? I might just get them next time as I am used to drawing up medications etc so doubt I would have a problem with them, just never knew what they were before so never ordered them!

The first time I ordered I think I just copied exactly from the a5 sheet I got with my pump that listed all the stuff, since then I tend to just find last order I made and copy and paste! The first time I said it was my first time and said if anything was wrong to let me know, they sent me a nice email saying I had done it ok!

I have never had a clip for this pump, I always had one with my old Medtronic pump, I think when I sent something off when I first got the pump it said they would send me one but I never got one!
