Nicola, I've just realised how nice of you it was to feed the hens with your fear of birds...I popped in a while back and fed P & J a couple of carrots and threw some of the chicken feed into their coop. Couldn't check for eggs though x

That's wonderful Satindoll. Haven't had chance to get to.know any of the neighbours there yet. Just pop by briefly to get away from bathroom goings on.... Just a bit of brew and chill tiime and to have donkey hugs....so good we'll have a mucker outer..... So we don't need to ask EddieHi Ladies, just a quick pop in. don't be alarmed by the sudden increase of 2 ponies in the stables their names are Benny and Bella, they belong to the farmers grandchildren, have worked out a wizza deal with him, if we stable them he will allow us use of the paddock and Dutch Barn, we have permission to use as much hay and woodchips for bedding as needed, he will send a man over to muck out the stables daily and chicken coup weekly, the grandchildren and their friends will groom Punch and Judy at the same time as the ponies if they can have a ride of them, under strict supervision of Mum or Nanny of course, when they have their riding lessons and the farrier will see to their hooves when he comes next week.
Hope this meets with your approval, such nice people the farmer and family, I went to ask about the farrier and they said they were looking for heated stabling for the ponies, and as we have the room it seemed a good idea to do a deal, especially as some of us have mobility problems and the grooming and mucking out is a heavy job.
Let me know if this doesn't work for you, I did tell them that it needed full agreement from everyone.
