It's only the middle one peeing me off. Since he finished college about 4-6 weeks ago he's done absolutely nothing. If he's not sitting in his room playing on his Xbox or computer, he's down here with his phone in one hand and tablet in the other sprawled out on sofa. I keep telling him to go look for a job or just go out for a walk to get some fresh air and get out but no he won't. Just so fed up with it now. Roll on September when he goes back to college.
My husband used to work away quite a lot when my kids were younger and on school breaks and it was hard running everything single handed, they woud leave sports gear lying on the floor, trainers, bags, coats, their rooms were a constant mess and they never lifted a finger. One day I snapped and went on strike, refused to cook or tidy up for them, they had chip shop tea for two days, sports gear went unwashed, beds remained unmade but then the youngest came in asking "do you want a cup of tea mum" the middle one offered cheese on toast for dinner and my eldest started tidying her room. Miracle of miracles, the war was over. When we discussed the issue they said they were used to their bedroom mess but when the lounge and kitchen looked messy they didn't like it . From then on they made their beds and helped out with jobs which was how they earned their pocket money. It hit me the hardest as I'm really houseproud but it did the trick and they realised just how much mum did

Nope, wasn't me, haven' visited the shed yet but might book it for the night on Saturday. Supposed to be at a wedding reception but don't really fancy it and if I'm in the shed nobody will be able to track me down and drag me there. I have a thing about turning lights off, used to shout at everybody if they didnt do it. I will volunteer to knit jackets for the chickens how many are there? Maybe they need nappies too because if their bums are cold they won't lay any eggs' but... I will draw the line at putting them all on
Love the thought of chickens in nappies :D...egg catchers

Morning @eddie1968....
You big tease, you've been popping in and out of the shed to cut the wood for us and you don't know what it looks like. Hope you gave the donkeys, Punch & Judy, a carrot and nuzzle when you popped in.....they get so upset when visitors come and don't say hello to them.....

I popped in a while back and fed P & J a couple of carrots and threw some of the chicken feed into their coop. Couldn't check for eggs though x

Come on in and look around while you're here, thought you'd gone, I'd just locked up again. If you go in the loo mind your head on the glitter ball. Don't know why Chris hung it in there. Do you want a brew while you're here? Help yourself to biscuits, they're sugarfree.....

I know a nice little farm shop near me, I'll see if they can donate a sack or two and anything else come to think of it :)

Ooh, that would be lovely....maybe a bit of hay too?
We could reuse the sacks for the donkey droppings, once matured, and sell at the roadside.....unless @satindoll uses the manure on the veg plot...
