Hi. I usually aim to check 2 or 3 times a month in the middle of the night to check her levemir dose is keeping her level overnight. Depending on her bedtime reading (ie too high or on the lower end of target) i will check again a bit later for peace of mind. Also if i get up to the loo during the night i always check (can't help myself lol) x
I check him when I go to bed, if he's about 9-10 or more but not too high I leave him, if he's lower like 5-6-7 I'll check in night..... Depending on that reading will depend if I do a second check....
