Can anyone answer why, apparently?, no one is doing anything (Government, NHS or GP’s) about the critical shortage of Ozempic injections for type2 Diabete??!! I have been taking it for over 2yrs now & my sugars are completely under control, along with a weight loss of nearly 6 stone (I am now 14st 10lbs), which has not only improved my physical health, but also my mental state of mind. Yet, I’m reading everywhere that film stars/actors/celebrities are paying extortionate amounts of money for it as they’ve realised the effect it has on weight loss/appetite suppression & getting hold of it quite easily, apparently? My, along with 100’s of 1,000’s of other people’s health relays/depends on this injection but for the 2nd time in 2023 I am being told that pharmacies can’t obtain Ozempic from the manufacturer or any other sources. Surely the medical profession are aware of this, yet seemingly are not putting pressure in the relevant places.. However, the government have just announced they are starting a £40million campaign to start treating obesity with this very same injection - surely this is wrong & a campaign needs to be started to safeguard those already on Ozempic who’s health has not only improved with it, but they are dependent on it? I would appreciate others thoughts/comments on this, as I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking this way. Regards, Ken Davies.
