Hi any advice please,
I have been on ozempic and ordered my repeat prescription but be told due to shortage it’s unavailable until poss sometime in 2024.
As I have no new prescription and run out
Now it’s a instant stop, no idea what to do any advice appreciated.

contact your specialist nurse/endocrinologist
There are many drugs in this category that u can use instead of Ozempic
I am on Victosa daily dose, and Adlyxin is also a daily dose
Trulicity and Bydureon are weekly if that's your preference

Same problem here too, GP has said there is a tablet he can prescribe that does same thing, so check with your GP!

I’m going onto Victoza whilst Ozempic is in short supply which I’m not looking forward too as it made me quite ill last time I was on it years ago

I thought ozempic side effects will be worse. The side effects gets better, been on it since 2019.

Didn’t have any side effects with Ozempic since I started it, just feel like I’m going backwards in the treatment but maybe it’ll be different this time. I really hope Ozempic comes back into supply soon though
