Pain around stomach and sides

Hi all,

Been on 1 X 25mg alogliptin for about 9 days (along with my usual 2g Metformin) and for the last few days been experience aches around lower abdomen and sides.

Is this a side effect? Anyone had this with the meds?

did you read the leaflet that comes with the tablets? Anyway a quick google search through up an answer. Hope this helps

Tell your doctor if you have serious side effects of Nesina including:

• severe pain in your upper stomach spreading to your back,
• nausea and vomiting,
• loss of appetite,
• fast heart rate,
• itching,
• dark urine,
• clay-colored stools,
• jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), or.
